Biotique Honey water Pore tightening Toner: Tried and tested + Review
IMG_9997.JPG

Hi everyone, today's product review is about Pore tightening toner from Biotique

I used this toner after using the Cucumber variant. Let's start with packaging.

It comes in plastic bottle priced for INR 175/- in  120 ml quantity. Price wise it is one of the most affordable toner to start off with.

Application - Wipe it with cotton pad on a cleansed face. It does gives a tingling feeling when applied but it vanishes as the product sinks in. It is good for normal & oily acne prone skin. But it will not shrink the pore immediately.

Let's review with the help of ingredients. It contains

  • Maju Phal (Quercus Infectoria) - It contains various medicinal properties like skin lightening, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-venom.

  • Gajar (Daucus Carota) - Also known as wild carrot. The seed of this plant is used to make oil used in medicines. It has anti - bacterial, anti - fungal properties.

  • Grithkumari (Aloevera Bardadensis) - It is one of the famous herb used in Ayurveda since ancient times. It contains 20 amino acids. It contains Vitamins like A, C and E, folic acid, choline and B12 which nourishes body cells and to neutralize free radicals

  • Manjistha (Rubia Cordifolia) - It is one of the ancient herb known to purify blood. It is known to to help skin in achieving brighter and clear complexion.

  • Gulab (Rosa Centifolia) - It contains anti-inflammatory properties. It contains Vitamin C. Useful for managing dry or inflamed skin symptoms.

  • Madhu (Honey (Mel) - Honey as we all know by its common name. One of the most effective skin care ingredient containing vitamins, amino acids, antioxidant properties.

  • Japa (Hibiscus rose senensis) - It tones, hydrates and firms the skin naturally.

Apart from all of the above medicinal properties, the toner has a strong alcohol smell, which makes me think if Biotique products are really made with natural ingredients!!

My verdict - I will not say it is one of the best toners. But it's an affordable one from brand like Biotique. Good for oily and acne prone skin.

Thank you for reading.
