The Bright Summer

Today's blog post is about creating a simple yet stylish look in this season of scorching heat.

When it come to summer, we need to keep one thing in mind that whatever we wear has to be comfortable and the fabric should preferably be light and breathable. At the same time the outfit that we wear should not be body hugging but free flowing and airy.

Noe let's move to color and prints. Contrast colors always compliment each other is not new to anyone. In case of prints things are bit tricky and it's important that prints don't mismatch. For example floral prints cannot be paired with geometric prints even if the colors are complimenting.

Here I have teamed up my plain colored culotte pants with printed polka dots top. In terms of color both are complimenting each other very well. To balance prints I decided to go for printed top and plain solid colored bottoms. It always works like that if top is printed then wear plain bottoms and vice versa. Same color top & bottom set is also a great but either of them has some amount of print just to differentiate. Fabric for both the garments is very soft and light. It's not body hugging but at the same time super comfortable and well fitted. To complete the look I simply added a silver neckpiece and for the foot wear I chose open toe slippers. One can even opt for white sneakers or kolhapuris. I ma glad that pics have turned out very well indoors as well as outdoors.
